Hi, I’m Lily Hansen, the heart behind Hansen Weddings and Events. Growing up in a big family, coordinating chaos was part of everyday life—something I learned to navigate with love and ease. As the oldest sibling, I quickly became the go-to helper for my parents and my mom’s right hand, learning how to manage every detail, big and small. That upbringing shaped me into the planner I am today.

Now, I’m also the proud mom of a beautiful baby girl, Kensley. Family means everything to me—and when we work together, you become part of that family. That’s why your special day becomes just as important to me as if it were my own.

I planned my own wedding from start to finish—DIY flowers, custom decorations, and even coordinating our delicious smoked pork nacho bar (thanks to my husband’s boss!). Every detail reflected our unique connection, and I made sure even our photos captured exactly what we envisioned. I was so hands-on, I found myself directing our (very patient!) photographer throughout the day.

Still, I didn’t truly realize this could be my calling until my sister’s wedding. Seeing her overwhelmed on the morning of her big day, I offered to step in and take over. From organizing the groomsmen for setup to directing photographers and styling every last detail—all while caring for my daughter—I found myself in a role I was born for. When my sister walked down the aisle stress-free and glowing, I knew: this is what I was meant to do.

Now, I get to bring that same passion and calm confidence to every couple I work with. Whether it’s a simple elopement or a grand celebration, I’ll be by your side making sure it feels like your day, done your way.
